New Tenants
Seen a property on our website?
Please contact us to arrange a viewing, you can either do this by calling us on
01332 862173 or via email info@austinproperty.co.uk
We take a video of all of our properties, these are available upon request and are send out via Whatsapp.
If the property is still of interest following the virtual viewing, please let us know when you are able to attend the property for a physical viewing, we will then make a mutually convenient time to meet.
If you would like to proceed following the physical viewing, a holding deposit is payable, equivalent to 1 weeks rent, this secures the property for you, subject to references.
This is non-refundable under the following circumstances:
- provides false or misleading information which you can reasonably consider when deciding to let a property – this can include a tenant’s behaviour in providing false or misleading information
- withdraws from a property (unless a landlord or agent imposed a requirement that breached the ban or acted in such a way to the tenant or relevant person that it would be unreasonable to expect a tenant to enter into a tenancy agreement with them)
- fails to take all reasonable steps to enter into a tenancy agreement and the landlord or agent takes all reasonable steps to do so (unless a landlord or agent imposes a requirement that breaches the ban or acts in such a way to the tenant or relevant person that it would be unreasonable to expect a tenant to enter into a tenancy agreement with them)
- fails a right to rent check
Once we have received the Holding Deposit through, we will then send you out the following via email:

NOTE: we only hold a property for 3 weeks from when it is viewed or when the property is available from, if later than the 3 weeks.
The holding deposit will be deducted from your first months rent and deposit upon successful application and is not in addition to the rent and deposit.

For all property repairs (except emergencies), please report them here.
For emergency repairs please contact us on 01332 862173, should this be outside of office opening hours, please still call this number and leave a message, we pick these up throughout the weekend and evenings.
Vacating
Should you be looking to give notice to vacate the property you currently occupy, you need to provide 1 months written notice from your tenancy end date or your tenancy date if you are on a Periodic tenancy (month to month contract).
Should you be under tenancy and need to vacate sooner, please refer to your tenancy agreement and please contact us on 01332 862173 or info@austinproperty.co.uk to discuss further.
